Job Description
The purpose of this role is to assure compliance with AbbVie" s General Security Standards and applicable local and state security and emergency response. The position has general responsibility to provide support in the implementation of security programs for the protection of company assets, employees and all situations which could impact overall business to AbbVie.
Responsibilities
- Provides general security coverage for AbbVie east and west sites.



Manage personnel and visitor security clearance daily and access and control activity to verify personal and organization identification.
- Provides Support as requested by Global Security Select Agent Toxin representative.
- Responsible for the timely Investigation of Security related events. Develop and implement an internal measurement system, so that meaningful targets can be established, and plans developed to make continuous improvements.
- Provides support as an internal audit and shall actively participate in inspections from external parties and shall perform routine inspection to assure compliance of rules and regulations if required
- Provides support for emergency security awareness at the site.
- Provides support to security projects and or specials projects. Evaluate changes in the site operations to identify security impacts and appropriate action.
- Accountability for developing and implementing new security projects through integral solutions.
