Your Task

The Squad Business Operations role handles all finance related topics including forecasting, year-end steering, iPF planning according to German IFRS, and steering of Squad Leads in T-DAT in MTF/MTB, Alithea.

Responsibilities

- Responsibility for in-year budget steering and monitoring the achievement of financial targets as part of year-end management
- Ownership and execution of the forecasting process (short- and mid-term forecasts)
- Contribution to mid-term planning (iPF), including deriving recommendations for action as well as providing business and financial evaluation and assessment
- Analysis and interpretation of actual figures, variances, and trends, including preparation of results
- Preparation of reports, presentations, and decision-making materials for management
- Close coordination and communication with relevant stakeholders (e.g., business units, controlling, management)
- Identification of optimization potential in planning and steering processes
- Use of internal T-SP process and planning tools

Your Profile

We are looking for a qualified Financial Controlling professional with strong experience in budget steering, forecasting, and financial planning, along with excellent analytical skills, stakeholder management abilities, and proficiency in German language.

Must Have Skills

- Strong experience in Financial Controlling, Budget Steering & Forecasting
- Experience with mid-term planning (iPF) and year-end steering
- Strong financial analysis skills including actuals, variances, trends, risks & opportunities




- Management reporting and preparation of decision-making materials
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of IFRS / financial planning processes
- German speaker
- Strong analytical and structured thinking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Business-oriented mindset and ability to derive recommendations
- High level of ownership and accountability
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently
- Strong presentation skills and management communication
- Attention to detail combined with a big-picture view
- Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines
