About Alliance Strategies
Alliance Strategies is the parent company of the brands we work with and know in our day-to-day operations: Alliance Abroad, GeoVisions, Stepwest, Stepabroad, Wild Packs, and Teacher Lounge. Together, we are part of a integral team committed to creating transformative work, study, and cultural exchange experiences.
From our offices in 11 countries, we support participants, partners, and host organisations by connecting talented people with meaningful opportunities. Whether we are helping a teacher relocate to the United States, a student secure their first internship abroad, or a resort fill key positions with international talent, everything we do is focused on opening pathways that create a real impact.
About the Role:
Our Spain office is looking to hire a Business Development & Key Account Manager – Hospitality / HORECA to expand and strengthen Alliance Abroad’s network of partner employers in Spain’s hotel and restaurant sector.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines new business development, key account management, and expertise in the hospitality and restaurant industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing new partnerships with hotels and restaurants, developing existing accounts, and improving the quality and competitiveness of international internship opportunities. They will also build trusted relationships with HR leaders, General Managers, Food & Beverage (F&B;) managers, Executive Chefs, and restaurant managers, translating their staffing needs into clear and viable recruitment and placement requirements.
Working closely with the operations and candidate placement teams, they will help improve outcomes for partner employers and coordinate recruitment and hiring initiatives. Candidate screening and placement will be a supporting function within the role, rather than its primary responsibility.
As the successful candidate becomes familiar with processes relating to partner employers, participants, and visas, they will have the opportunity to gradually take on greater responsibility for the day-to-day management of Alliance Abroad’s operations in Spain, within its inbound international internship programme.
