Your Task

This position is based at the Telco Hub in Madrid, where teams work in cross-country, cross-functional squads delivering cutting-edge services. The role is within the Tribe Voice & Messaging, which is responsible for the design, development, planning, validation and operation of all voice and messaging platforms in DT Technik's fixed and mobile network over their entire lifecycle. The scope of the current program is to bring voice & messaging applications into the cloud, changing today's model of separate fixed and mobile systems and merging them, while supporting the integration of AI into neighboring platforms. You will work in a DevOps team focused on integration, validation, configuration and rollout of software.

Responsibilities

- Support the project team in the integration, validation, configuration and rollout of software in a DevOps team
- Support the project team in the daily evaluation of security scans, open and update tickets with vendors, and take part in regular security meetings with vendors
- Perform quality assurance testing, rollout and approval for release of software in the lab
- Plan and carry out validation and rollout in the live systems
- Assist with project-specific activities

Your Profile

We are seeking a qualified DevOps professional with strong technical skills in Linux, DevOps technologies, and telecommunications, particularly IMS knowledge. The ideal candidate should have experience with automation tools, be willing to learn cloud native technologies, and be available for on-call duties.

Must Have Skills

- General knowledge of DevOps technologies and tools (e.g. Gitlab,



Test Automation with at least basic knowledge)
- Experienced knowledge of Linux
- Basic IMS knowledge with relevant communication protocols (e.g. SIP and RTP)
- Telecommunications Industry experience
- Willingness to learn and acquire cloud native/Kubernetes (Cloud Booster) skills if not already present
- Willingness to participate in On-Call duties outside of normal work hours, if necessary
- Experience in DevOps environments
- Experience with automation
- Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement
- Proactive mindset focused on teamwork

Nice to Have Skills

- Experience with ticketing systems
- Experience in analysing and fixing security flaws as pertaining to OS
- ITIL knowledge or experience
- Understanding German language
