At Oblique Music Group , we operate at the intersection of music, creative services, and technology. Our group encompasses Too Young (a leading music supervision agency), Movement (a high-end background music solution), and Catalog (our proprietary music licensing platform).

We are entering an exciting growth stage, preparing for key fundraising milestones (including our Series A) while continuing to scale our tech platform.

Unlike an early-stage blank slate, our core financial architecture, stack, and processes are already established and running . We are looking for an execution-focused Head of Finance & Operations to step in, take ownership of existing systems, drive continuous improvement, and scale our financial strategy to the next level.

The Role: Strategic & Hands-On

This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the COO and CEO. You will act as the company’s central financial engine, balancing strategic FP&A; and investor relations with hands-on oversight of day-to-day operations, automation, and banking relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Finance & FP&A;: Maintain, refine, and optimize existing financial models, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning. Co-pilot fundraising efforts and manage investor reporting.
- Process Enhancement & Automation: Continue refining our established "Quote-to-Cash" and Accounts Payable/Spend management processes. Optimize our financial tech stack (QuickBooks, Holded, Syft, Revolut, etc.)



to ensure real-time accuracy.
- Local & International Banking: Manage daily banking relationships, corporate accounts, and treasury, acting as the key link with local financial institutions in Spain.
- Operations & Leadership: Lead and mentor our administrative team. Oversee general business operations, vendor negotiations, legal compliance, and foundational People Operations frameworks.

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- English: 100% Fluent/Native (our official working language across teams, leadership, and investors).
- Spanish: Fluent (essential for direct communication with local banks, legal counsel, and Spanish institutions).
- Highly hands-on and operator-oriented. You enjoy diving into spreadsheets, optimizing tools, and actively managing workflows, not just delegating.
- Proven track record taking ownership of established financial operations and optimizing them for scale.
- Postgraduate Degree: MBA or Master’s in Financial Analysis / Corporate Finance (nice to have) .
- Industry Experience: Direct experience in the music industry, record labels, music supervision/licensing, or creative entertainment industries (highly valued).
- Languages: Working knowledge of French is a strong plus.
