5-star international resort located in Porto Petro (Mallorca) with high seasonal occupancy and multiple culinary outlets including buffet and à la carte operations. The resort serves an international leisure guest profile.
ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistant to support the chefs in the daily operation by ensuring the kitchen remains clean, organized, and well-prepared for service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and other ingredients.
- Keep workstations clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Wash kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Receive, unpack, and store deliveries.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times.
- Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness in storage areas.
- Support the kitchen team with other daily operational tasks when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- English required (intermediate). Spanish valued.
- EU passport or valid work permit
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• 2.172€ gross monthly salary
• Full-time seasonal contract (until first days of November)
• Meals provided during working hours
• Transportation provided from the house to the resort

• Shared room with another person: 400€/month
