Robert Walters is hiring a Sales Representative (Catalonia/Baleares) for an important biotech (IVD sector).

Your mission

Research and identify potential clients through market analysis and other means. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients and understand their needs and preferences. Meet sales objectives and develop sales strategies to increase revenue.

Your contributions

Knowledge of the characteristics of the product and instructions for use. · Periodically visit all current customers. · Visit to potential customers, according to the instructions received. · Collect customer business data and their consumption. · Prepare the reports and market surveys requested · Propose and transmit to the commercial director their own and customer initiatives that contribute to the greater dissemination and sale of products. · Propose offers for customer acceptance in the software required by the company · Prepare the budget of each area upon request · Lead strategies for public tenders, acting as the main responsible person not only for preparing the economic offer but also for ensuring that all the technical documentation -including quality, applications,



and technical service- fully complies with the tender specifications.

Education

Science Degree (Biologist, Farmacy, Chemistry) or Three years of experience in the field of DIV

Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products or medical devices, preferably in hospital or clinical laboratory environments. · Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets within the healthcare or diagnostics sector. · Experience in managing key accounts, negotiating contracts, and supporting tender processes in both public and private sectors. · Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with laboratory professionals, purchasing departments, and hospital decision-makers. · Previous collaboration with application specialists and technical support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. · Experience in coordinating activities across Spain and Portugal will be considered a strong asset.
