Canterbury School of Gran Canaria is looking to expand its pool of qualified Secondary Supply Teachers to provide temporary cover for staff absences throughout the academic year.
Established in 1972, Canterbury School is a well-respected British international school in Gran Canaria, Spain. We offer the British curriculum through to Cambridge IGCSE, followed by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in Sixth Form.
We welcome applications from enthusiastic and adaptable teachers across all Secondary subjects who would be interested in short-term or longer-term cover opportunities, depending on the school's needs.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher with relevant Secondary teaching experience.
- Native-level proficiency in English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to cover staff absences, sometimes at short notice.
- An existing legal right to work in Spain.
- A professional, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching.
Previous experience teaching the British curriculum would be an advantage.
