Software Functional Analyst for Public Administration (m/f/d)

Your Task

We are looking to add to our team a Functional Analyst in the area of software development, ideally with experience as a large public client. This position is ideally based in Tarragona, although applications from Barcelona will also be evaluated. The role involves understanding the needs of the business and translating them into clear functional requirements that the technical team can implement. The applications are developed using HOST technology, but work is being done to migrate the system to Java and the cloud.

Main Responsibilities

- Gathering requirements
- Functional analysis and definition
- Generating functional documentation
- Communication with technical team
- Validation and participation in user acceptance tests (UAT) with the customer
- Support and continuous improvement

Your Profile

We are looking for a Functional Analyst with strong experience in software development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements. Ideally, the candidate should have experience working with large public clients.

Must Have Skills

- Advanced Catalan language skills, both spoken and written
- At least 3 years of experience as a functional analyst
- Good communication skills with clients
- Good communication skills with development teams
- Analysis and synthesis capacity
- Empathy with users and customers
