Your Task

We are seeking a Solution Designer for the T-DAT SDM Lifecycle Squad at the Telco Hub in Madrid. This role is part of the Tribe Data team, which is responsible for a system landscape of central components of the fixed and mobile network, encompassing a wide range of different systems and platforms. The T-DAT SDM Lifecycle Squad is responsible for the planning and operation of the central network databases (CNTDB) for all access networks (mobile, fixed-line, M2M), as well as HLR/HSS throughout their entire lifecycle, along with 5GC-relevant systems such as UDM & AUSF. This includes ensuring the stable operation of the SDM platform, as well as the deployment and piloting of the systems in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

- Creation of a 12-site concept and analysis of Converged T-CaaS
- Development of the design for the final integration with the in-house developed automation solution
- Documentation of the cloud rollout strategy for the production environment
- Finalization of the designs for vTAP integration
- Design of the future configuration management solution
- Development of the rollout strategy for mTLS/oAuth2.0 in Lot3
- Design of the future 5G SA roaming concept

Your Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Designer with deep expertise in 5G Core technologies, cloud-based telecommunications solutions, and modern DevOps tools. The idóneo candidate will have extensive experience designing TelCo solutions in cloud environments and working with microservice architectures.

Must Have Skills

- In-depth knowledge and experience in the area of 5G Core (UDM, AMF, SMF, NRF)




- Expertise in designing TelCo solutions in a cloud environment
- Confident use of Kubernetes (k8s)
- Confident use of ELK
- Confident use of GitLab
- Confident use of Artifactory
- Experience in the development/integration of REST based APIs
- Experience with modern security protocols
- Knowledge of microservice architecture
- Knowledge of cloud-based applications and databases
- Experience in designing cloud based solutions
- Ability to explain multifaceted technical requirements to colleagues and customers
- Experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation

Nice to Have Skills

- Basic knowledge of 4G Core (HSS, DRA)
