Accounts Receivable Specialist

to join an international finance environment in Barcelona. This role is ideal for someone with strong AR expertise who can take ownership of complex cases, act as a technical reference for the team, and contribute to more efficient, consistent, and reliable financial operations Beyond day-to-day activities, you will help identify the root causes of discrepancies, support knowledge sharing and collaborate with different stakeholders to improve processes and maintain high operational standards Key languages:

Full professional level of English Main responsibilities:

Manage complex Accounts Receivable operations, including billing, cash application and account reconciliations Investigate discrepancies, outstanding items and unidentified payments, identifying root causes and ensuring timely resolution Handle complex cases and escalations, collaborating with Finance, Treasury and other stakeholders to resolve issues Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures Identify opportunities to improve, standardise and automate AR processes, contributing to operational efficiency Act as a technical reference for the team,



sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues with complex queries Contribute to onboarding and training activities, maintaining operational documentation and supporting process transitions when required Core skills/experience:

Solid experience in Accounts Receivable, ideally in an international Shared Services Centre (SSC) or General Business Services (GBS) environment Knowledge of billing, cash application, account reconciliations and month-end closing Experience resolving discrepancies and handling complex cases Full professional proficiency in English, additional languages are a plus Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving abilities and autonomy Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset Experience using SAP and Excel What's on offer:
