You’ll identify repetitive operational work and replace it with Infrastructure as Code, automated runbooks, and self-service deployment capabilities, making the platform faster to change, cheaper to run, and compliant by design.

This role blends cloud infrastructure engineering, Dev Ops / CI/CD, and Fin Ops and compliance automation, giving you the opportunity to shape how the platform is built, deployed, governed, and operated.A day in this role_Identify repetitive operational tasks and design automation to eliminate manual effort. Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across AWS environments. Automate governance and compliance checks across accounts and resources. Build self-service deployment capabilities for engineering and data teams. Automate cost reporting and remediation (e.g., idle resources, rightsizing, scheduling). Create operational dashboards and alerts to improve visibility and incident response. Improve CI/CD processes using Git Hub (Actions, branching strategies, automated testing and promotion). Orchestrate operational workflows with AWS Step Functions, Event Bridge, Lambda, and Systems Manager. Collaborate with platform, data, and security teams to define standards, guardrails, and best practices. Terraform modules and Infrastructure as Code for the platform. Automated operational runbooks. Compliance automation. Cost optimization automation. Deployment pipelines (CI/CD).



The expertise requested_Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering roles. Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices (modules, state management, environments). Hands-on experience with AWS Step Functions, Amazon Event Bridge, AWS Systems Manager, and AWS Lambda. Experience with Git Hub and building CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions or similar). Working knowledge of AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, Amazon S3, and Amazon EC2. Strong scripting and development skills in Python and SQL. Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards (Cloud Watch or similar). Solid understanding of Agile, SDLC, and modern engineering best practices. Desired or nice to have expertise_Experience with AWS Config, Security Hub, or policy-as-code tools (OPA, Sentinel, Checkov). Experience with Fin Ops practices and tools (Cost Explorer, Cost and Usage Reports, budgets). Familiarity with multi-account AWS setups (AWS Organizations, Control Tower). Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate automation.AWS certifications (e.g., Dev Ops Engineer – Professional, Sys Ops Administrator) or Hashi Corp Terraform Associate.
