Let’s get in touch.What You'll Be Doing Acting as a key stakeholder for the branch in HungaryOverseeing day-to-day 1st line of defence functions of the branch, including governance, interactions with regulators, and oversight of BAU operationsProviding adequate oversight and accountability with respect to outsourced functionsExecuting scale operations and working with cross-functional teams (e.G., Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing) in Lithuania, London, and our other global officesMonitoring country-specific risk incidents, conduct issues, and their resolution timelines, and liaising with the relevant service owners, ensuring proper controls are placedWhat You'll Need At least a 2:1 degree from a top university5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally financial services or management consulting in the Hungarian marketFluency in HungarianExperience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operationsA solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to endThe ability to break complex problems into smaller onesNatural curiosity and a willingness to make an impactNice to have Experience working with regulatorsExperience setting up a branch in HungaryBuilding a general financial super app isn’t enough.
