This position is working for procurement of assigned materials and service utilizing the most cost effective use of company funds.
Work through supply changes to ensure EFI meets short and long term manufacturing and non-manufacturing goals in terms of cost and delivery schedule. Obtains verbal and written price quote from vendorsPrepares purchase orders using SAP for the purchase of goods and servicesResearches and sources engineering defined components globallyCoordinates production schedule changes with the suppliers by negotiating price adjustments for either up or down volume swings.




Collaborates with Engineering and other groups on prototype product procurementProcesses Engineering changes for purchased componentsMaintains professional business relationship with suppliers.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering, Science in Business Administration or equivalent and three to five years of purchasing experience or five to eight years of purchasing experience without BS degree. xhfqzwm Common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for goods and servicesWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPointHave thorough knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures and sound business controlsStrong Knowledge of fabrication techniques, sheet metal, machining and finishesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver resultsHave great oral and written communications killsCandidates must have experience in manufacturing or operations/Engineering in similar type of industryUnderstand inventory
