English Teacher Immediate Start in Seville

About Us

Our main school is located in La Macarena, a traditional neighbourhood close to Seville city centre.

The Position

We are looking for an experienced English teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 academic year.

- Initial contract: 15.5 paid hours per week, including approximately 11 teaching hours.
- Initial Working Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 16:30 - 19:00. Tuesday and Thursday: 15:30 - 19:00. Weekly teachers' meeting on Friday.
- Teaching small groups of children, teenagers or adults, depending on experience.

Opportunities for Additional Hours

As new courses become available, there are opportunities to increase contracted hours throughout the academic year, depending on teaching experience, performance and availability.

Additional availability for morning or evening classes (until 22:00)

Essential Requirements

- Currently living in Seville or the surrounding area.
- Available to start immediately.
- Excellent command of English (C2 or equivalent).
- TEFL or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching English as a foreign language, preferably in a language school.
- Previous experience teaching at least one of the following age groups: children, teenagers or adults.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Professional references.
- Legal right to work in Spain.

Desirable

- Experience preparing students for Cambridge English examinations.
- Additional availability for morning or evening classes until 22:00.

Salary and Benefits

from €700 / month gross ≈ £591 / $787

15.5 paid hours/week (approx. 11 teaching hours).

WHAT WE OFFER

- Initial contract of 15.5 paid hours per week, with approximately 11 teaching hours with students.
- Stable monthly salary of 700 gross, with opportunities to increase contracted hours and salary as new courses become available.
- Spanish employment contract with full Social Security contributions.
- Paid school holidays during the contracted period, including approximately two weeks at Christmas, one week at Easter, several days during Seville's Feria and additional public holidays.
- Regular monthly salary during these holiday periods, without reductions for scheduled school closures.
- Established teaching programmes, classroom resources and ongoing academic support.
