Are you hands-on, reliable and enjoy working outdoors? TSIRC is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our Engineering Services Team in casual positions across our island communities.

Casual Opportunities Available at the following Divisions:
- 1 x Division 3 - Saibai
- 1 x Division 4 - Mabuiag
- 2 x Division 6 - Kubin
- 2 x Division 7 - St Paul's
- 1 x Division 14 - Erub
- 2 x Division 15 - Mer
About the Role

As a Casual Engineering Officer, you will work alongside and support our full-time Engineering Officers in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Council's essential infrastructure and community facilities.

Your duties will include:
- Assisting with maintenance of roads, parks, gardens and public facilities.
- Supporting water and wastewater operations.
- Assisting with waste collection and management.




- Helping maintain airport and marine facilities.
- Operating tools, machinery and equipment safely.
- Undertaking general maintenance and civil works as required.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Must hold a current Queensland Class "C" Driver's Licence (Provisional or higher).
- Current Construction White Card.
