Treasury Optimization Specialist

Velto Renewables (Velto), a Pan- European IPP backed by La Caisse (Caisse de Dépôt et Placement de Québec), is looking for a Treasury Specialist to join its team in Madrid, Spain, and work closely with the Financial Manager, inside the Financial Planning & Analyst Department.

Velto owns and operates more than 130 solar photovoltaic and wind projects in Spain and France, with a total installed capacity exceeding 607 MW. These assets generate over 936 GWh of clean energy annually, enough to power more than 266,000 homes, while avoiding over 77,000 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. Additionally, Velto provides asset management services for La Caisse’s 25% investment in London Array, one of the world’s largest offshore wind farms. Located 20 km off the coast of Kent, this 630 MW project produces over 2,300 GWh annually, preventing 287,500 tons of CO₂ emissions each year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of the Group's treasury activities, maintaining adequate liquidity levels,



optimizing net financing costs, overseeing payment and collection processes, and managing operational relationships with financial institutions. The role will also provide analysis and support to the Finance Manager in financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

Banking Administration and Treasury Operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact with banking institutions, managing operational issues and corporate banking procedures, including mandates, signatories, direct debits, and account openings and closures.
- Implement controls and initiatives aimed at reducing banking fees and optimizing banking conditions.
- Manage and monitor guarantees, bank guarantees, and other financial securities issued by the Group, with the objective of optimizing associated costs.
- Plan, schedule, and process payment runs for suppliers, payroll, taxes, and financial debt obligations.
- Coordinate the internal payment approva
