We are looking for a Kitchen Trainee to join our Culinary team for an approximate period of 6 months, gaining hands-on experience across the different areas of kitchen operations and supporting the team in the preparation and execution of daily service.
This role offers the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations within a professional hospitality environment, from mise en place and food preparation to service, stock management and coordination with other departments.
We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in developing their culinary skills and gaining experience in a professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the kitchen team with the daily preparation and mise en place required for service. Assist with the preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes, following the established recipes, standards and procedures. Support the team during breakfast, lunch, dinner and/or event services, depending on the operational needs.



Assist with the preparation and execution of banquets, events and special functions, working closely with the Events and F&B; teams. Ensure that all food preparation areas, equipment and workstations are kept clean, organized and in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards. Follow established procedures regarding food handling, storage, labeling and temperature control. Support the correct storage and rotation of products, following FIFO principles and minimizing food waste. Assist with stock checks and inventory, communicating product needs or shortages to the relevant team members. Work closely with the Purchasing and Storeroom teams to understand the process of receiving, checking and storing products. Collaborate with the wider F&B; and operational teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination during service.
