This role supports the French Finance team by assisting with day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, and basic analysis. The position is based in Madrid and contributes to ensuring accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing, and helping the business maintain financial visibility and control.

JOB DUTIES:

- Assist the Finance Manager with the monthly closing process, supporting activities such as the preparation and posting of journal entries within the defined framework.

- Assist in preparing basic financial reports and analysis for the French Finance team

- Help maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

- Support monitoring of expenses and assist in tracking indirect spend

- Prepare data and supporting files for forecasting and budgeting activities

- Assist in following up on outstanding items (e.G. accruals, invoices)

- Provide administrative and analytical support to the Finance team and business stakeholders

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct financial processing (e.G. purchasing, sales, operations)

- Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to basic information requests





- Attend finance meetings with the Country Leadership Team in a supporting capacity

- Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and tools

YOU MUST HAVE:

- At least 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role (internships included)

- High level of English and French;

- Good numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail

- Ability to organize work and meet deadlines
