In this role you will design and implement advanced PLC-based control software for ITER-related projects within GTD SIu0026amp;R. You will join a multidisciplinary Instrumentation and Control team to deliver reliable control systems for large-scale scientific facilities. Your work will span from system architecture to validation and integration in a global, mission-critical environment.
This is a chance to contribute to cutting-edge fusion research and potentially extend to other Iu0026amp;C initiatives.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
- Design and implement complex PLC control systems for ITER projects
- Develop and maintain control software architectures and state machines
- Create technical documentation (SRS, FDS, I/O lists, BOM, test procedures)
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team on large scientific projects
- Support FAT/SAT and system validation
- Possibly extend work to other Iu0026C activities depending on demand and candidate interest
Responsabilidades
- Degree in industrial, automation, electronics or similar
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control Engineering projects
- Experience with Siemens STEP7 and TIA PORTAL with SCL (S7-(phone hidden)/1200)
- Experience developing technical documentation (SRS, FDS, I/O lists, cable diagrams, BOM, test procedures)
- Experience with PROFINET, PROFIBUS, xugodme Modbus and OPC UA
- Experience designing state machines, control sequences, operating modes and interlocks
- Experience with system validation FAT/SAT
- High level of English
