In this role you design, deploy and secure the platforms that support critical rail signalling. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, secure and maintainable infrastructure for mission-critical operations. You translate requirements into robust architectures and automated, scalable deployments. The position offers impact on global rail networks and opportunities to modernize platforms with security and reliability at the core.

- Assess customer and system requirements to create platform architectures and BOMs
- Design robust infrastructure for physical and virtual environments with potential containerisation
- Select and administer enterprise hardware, servers, network devices, storage, OS, virtualization, middleware, and databases
- Develop automated, version-controlled deployment, backup, and recovery processes
- Build pre-production and validation environments and apply strict security practices
- Optimize capacity, performance, availability, monitoring, and issue diagnosis across layers
- Plan and execute installation, integration, testing,



and migration activities; provide technical support
- Produce architecture documents, designs, test specs, and operational manuals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and train customers
- Contribute to platform portfolio evolution, standardisation and automation
- Coordinate with specialist profiles on modernisation, containerisation or cloud-native tech

Responsabilidades

- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with hardware-intensive, highly available infrastructures
- Advanced GNU/Linux administration (Red Hat preferred) xugodme and Bash scripting
- Solid understanding of enterprise networking, storage, virtualization, and cybersecurity
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience with VMware vSphere, Windows Server, or SQL databases (PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with Ansible and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Exposure to industrial control systems, SCADA or OT
