ITOM Financial Modeler & Value Case Specialist

Location: Madrid, Spain (hybrid, 2-3 days/week onsite)

Engagement: Contract, 6-12 months

Role Purpose

Build the financial baselines, business cases and investment roadmaps that justify and fund the IT operating model transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Baseline integral, regional and local IT spend, covering run vs. change budgets, platform costs and vendor contracts
- Model one-off implementation costs against recurring savings from the platform transition
- Model FTE sizing, transitions and location-strategy cost impacts
- Prioritize initiatives by ROI/impact, build the financial backlog and define value-tracking metrics
- Quantify the productivity and cost impact of AI/automation across the IT value chain

Deliverables
- Global IT financial baseline and cost pool analysis
- Transformation business case and financial model (Capex/Opex, ROI, payback)
- FTE sizing,



target allocation and location costing model
- Prioritized implementation roadmap and initiative financial backlog

Requirements
- Experience: 5-8 years in IT financial modelling, IT consulting, IT finance (FinOps/TBM) or corporate IT strategy
- Modelling: Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (DCF, NPV, one-off vs. recurring costs, FTE cost models)
- IT cost knowledge: Strong grasp of IT cost structures, including cloud/infrastructure, licensing, application portfolios, external labor and shared services
- Certifications (one or more): ITIL Foundation, PMI CAPM/PMP, Apptio/TBMA
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
