Retail Architect - Internship

Mission of the Position:

The Retail Architect & Designer intern will support the Studio Camper team in the development, coordination, and execution of new store openings, renovations, and special design projects.

We are looking for a proactive profile with a technical foundation in architecture, but above all, an aesthetic sensibility, eye for detail, and a deep interest or background in product, furniture, and industrial design.

This position is based in our HQ, in Mallorca.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing architectural layouts, feasibility studies, and spatial concepts for retail spaces under the supervision of the Manager.
- Help gather initial information and data from the project internal and external stakeholders to ensure design developments comply with both brand standards and local regulations
- Review, update, and produce project-related documentation and technical drawings to ensure compliance and consistency with design, contractual,and building standards.

-Assist the Retail Architect with the architectural and construction activities involved in the renovation or creation of new stores, ensuring seamless execution.
- Facilitate the handover process to the retail team for successful store openings and manage the documentation archive across all project phases
- Proactively research new materials, fixtures, construction details, and general design trends to enrich the department's material library and project concepts.




- Manage the procurement and orders of all necessary materials and equipment.
- Review all project-related documentation to ensure compliance and consistency with design, contractual, and compliance standards.
- Manage and archive the necessary documentation for the various project phases.
- Coordinate with the Facilities department on store network developments.

Skills for the Position:

- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Good understanding of design drawings and project documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and company commitment.

Requirements for the Position:

- Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Knowledge with tools such as MS Office and AutoCAD, RHINO
