Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for something more commercially dynamic than a traditional in-house procurement role?

We are partnering with one of the fastest-growing procurement technology businesses in Europe as they continue their international expansion. Following significant growth and investment, they are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join their Barcelona team, managing and optimising technology spend for a portfolio of major customers.

This is a highly client-facing, commercially focused procurement position . You won't simply be running sourcing exercises behind the scenes. You'll take ownership of strategic customer relationships, work directly with senior stakeholders including CFOs and C-suite leaders , and become a trusted commercial partner to the organisations you support.

As a Senior Procurement Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Taking ownership of a portfolio of major customers, building senior relationships and proactively leading their procurement activity
- Leading complex SaaS and technology procurement projects, including strategic sourcing, negotiations, renewals and supplier optimisation
- Engaging directly with senior and C-suite stakeholders to understand commercial objectives and technology requirements
- Leading high-value negotiations with major software and SaaS vendors, identifying opportunities to reduce cost and improve commercial terms
- Developing software procurement and commercial strategies alongside customers
- Acting as a trusted procurement advisor, providing insight and challenging customers where appropriate
- Taking genuine ownership of your accounts,



proactively identifying opportunities to improve commercial outcomes
- Working alongside experienced SaaS procurement specialists and contributing your own expertise to the wider team
- Contributing ideas and challenging existing ways of working as the business continues to scale internationally

The position offers genuine commercial ownership. Senior Procurement Managers act as the primary buy-side procurement contact for their customers, taking responsibility for relationships, procurement strategy and commercial outcomes.

Required experience:

You don't necessarily need to have spent your entire career specialising exclusively in SaaS. We're looking for someone with the commercial capability, procurement experience and client-facing confidence to operate successfully at a senior level.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- 8+ years' experience across procurement, strategic sourcing, indirect procurement or a relevant commercial environment
- Strong exposure to technology, software or SaaS procurement
- Experience independently leading complex sourcing and commercial negotiations
- Excellent communication skills and the credibility to engage directly with senior and C-suite stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills, with a track record of delivering measurable value
- Fluent English
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive actions independently
- The adaptability and commercial mindset to succeed in a rapidly growing scale-up environment
- Evidence of challenging existing processes, improving ways of working and driving change
