To strengthen our team at Barcelona Airport (BCN), we are looking for an experienced and dedicated CAT B1.1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer (m/f/d). Tasks Your Responsibilities * Perform line maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and defect rectification in accordance with EASA regulations and approved maintenance documentation. * Certify aircraft for return to service as an EASA Part-66 CAT B1.1 Aircraft Certifying Technician. * Interpret technical documentation, including the Minimum Equipment List (MEL), to ensure safe and compliant maintenance. * Diagnose technical faults and perform effective repair solutions. * Lead and coordinate maintenance activities during your shift, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance. * Supervise and support technicians within your area of responsibility, providing technical guidance and coaching. * Act as the Technical Manager's deputy during shift operations,



making operational decisions when required. * Coordinate technical activities with flight crews, airport partners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth station operations. * Support operational planning and cost awareness while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. Requirements Your profile * Obligatory: valid EASA Part-66 CAT B1.1 licence with type ratings on A320 Family (all engines), B777 (GE), and B787 (RR Trent/GE). * Additional type ratings on A350 (RR Trent) and/or A220 (PW) are an advantage. * Current Human Factors, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety certificates. * Recent certifying experience on EASA-registered aircraft (minimum 6 months within the last 24 months). * Fluent English, both written and spoken; German is an advantage. * Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. * Structured and proactive working style with the
