? About the role

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with strong experience designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions.

This is a hands-on architecture role . You will own solution designs from early assessment through implementation and production readiness, producing detailed architectures that development teams can effectively implement.

You will work closely with business, development, security, data, infrastructure, DevOps and operations teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, secure and aligned throughout the delivery lifecycle.

? What you'll do

? Own end-to-end Solution Architecture for projects and major changes.

? Translate business and functional requirements into detailed, implementable solution designs .

? Define application components, APIs, integrations, data flows, identity/security and deployment models .

? Produce current-state, target-state and transition architecture views.

? Define non-functional requirements covering availability, resilience, performance, scalability, recoverability, observability and maintainability.

? Evaluate architecture options, trade-offs, risks, assumptions and dependencies .

? Produce Solution Architecture Documents / Technical Architecture Dossiers , diagrams and architecture decision records.

? Present and defend solution designs through Architecture Review Boards / Design Authorities and address review comments.

? Work closely with development and delivery teams throughout implementation, integration, testing, release and production readiness .

? Review implementation against the approved architecture, manage deviations and contribute to as-built architecture and handover .

? Must Have

? Strong experience in Solution Architecture, Application Architecture or Senior Software Engineering ,



with significant ownership of end-to-end solution designs used for implementation.

? Strong Azure Solution Architecture experience.

? Strong understanding of APIs, service-oriented, microservices and event-driven integration patterns .

? Experience designing across application, integration, data, security, cloud/infrastructure and operations .

? Azure identity and security knowledge including Entra ID, Service Principals, Managed Identities, RBAC and Key Vault .

? Strong understanding of Security by Design .

? Experience defining and validating non-functional requirements and production-readiness criteria.

? Good understanding of Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure/Configuration as Code, testing and release processes .

? Strong architecture modelling and documentation skills.

? Experience supporting development teams through implementation and production delivery , not only high-level architecture or advisory work.

? Professional English .

✨ Nice to Have

? Experience within insurance, financial services or other regulated environments .

? Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.

? TOGAF, ArchiMate, iSAQB or comparable architecture certification.

? Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Databricks, Power Platform or integration platforms .

? Experience with FinOps, technology risk, operational resilience or regulated cloud environments .

? French is a plus.

? Hybrid model - 2 days on site per week - Madrid
