In this role you will perform structural analysis across design phases to ensure integrity and damage tolerance of airframe components. You will work within the Structural Stress Analysis Team to evaluate designs, sizing, and certification needs, influencing material choices and manufacturing processes. You will engage in cross-functional activities and support certification efforts, tests, and technology development.

This is an opportunity to contribute to aerospace structures in a multidisciplinary, engineering-driven environment at Airbus Defence and Space.

Responsabilidades

- University Aeronautical Engineering Degree or equivalent
- 5–10 years of experience in structural analysis of airframe components
- Experience with stress tools (FEM and SW packages)
- Knowledge of standard stress methods (HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark u0026 Young)
- Understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, xugodme and AW requirements (military standards preferred)
- Knowledge of qualification/certification of aircraft structures and aircraft development processes
- Metallic and composite materials knowledge; structural test techniques
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; fluent English; program management experience
