In this role you drive the technical strategy and end-to-end delivery of Roche's application observability platform. You will mentor senior engineers, foster architectural consistency, and ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions. You balance hands-on execution with leadership, supporting live capabilities and aligning priorities with cross-functional stakeholders.

You work to reduce MTTR, boost developer velocity, and promote SRE practices across teams. This is a chance to shape observability in a regulated healthcare context and enable proactive engineering at scale.

- Define the technical vision and architecture roadmap for the Application Observability platform, ensuring scalability, availability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Lead design and deployment of enterprise-grade observability capabilities and telemetry, promoting Open Telemetry Standards and SRE adoption.




- Oversee DevSecOps and platform automation, including IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized infrastructure.
- Set engineering standards, code quality benchmarks, and architectural consistency; mentor geo-distributed engineers.
- Collaborate with Product Owner, architects, and vendors to translate strategy into technical specs and align with business goals. xugodme
- Ensure solutions comply with quality, regulatory, and security standards; support ITSM, audits, disaster recovery, and resilience planning.

Responsabilidades

- 7+ years in software development, DevOps/DevSecOps, or platform engineering delivering complex initiatives
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years in a multinational, highly regulated setting (pharma/healthcare tech preferred)
- Proven leadership of geo-distributed engineering teams
