As Senior Tax Accountant at Qlik, you will oversee EMEA and APAC direct tax processes and compliance, partnering with local teams and external advisors. You’ll support tax provisions, payments, and audits while monitoring Pillar II developments and global tax strategy.

- Oversee EMEA and APAC direct tax processes, compliance, and initiatives
- Review or assist with corporate tax returns prepared by external advisors
- Support U.S. GAAP tax provision (annual/quarterly)
- Manage direct tax payments and respond to tax authorities
- Assist in audit procedures and monitoring of GAAP financials in EMEA/APAC
- Coordinate with accounting, revenue, AP, and IT teams
- Implement direct tax controls for compliance
- Own direct tax processes, deadlines, and tax calendar
- Monitor Pillar II developments and translate into data/process requirements
- Support transfer pricing policy and documentation
- Assist in global direct tax strategy and planning




- Coordinate tax audit responses and maintain tax data for analyses
- Proactively identify tax process improvements and automation opportunities
- Maintain tax-technical proficiency and communicate changes to stakeholders

Responsabilidades

- 3+ years of integral direct tax experience (EMEA and APAC)
- Fluent understanding of direct tax and compliance issues
- Working knowledge of direct tax audit processes
- Local country GAAP and US GAAP knowledge is an asset
- Experience with tax control issues and process redesign for internal controls
- Multinational experience coordinating across countries
- Big Four experience preferred
- Experience with tax technology and ERP systems (e.g., Avalara, Net Suite)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in process improvement and automation in tax compliance
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred
- Master degree in Taxation preferred
