INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER VMware - Azure- IA MADRID

Do you have real experience with VMware, Oracle and automation? We're looking for someone like you.

From DXC Technology we're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to work in Madrid with an important client in enterprise infrastructure. We need someone technical, hands-on and willing to roll up their sleeves — someone who implements, not just designs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Design and implement on-premises and hybrid infrastructures with VMware, Oracle and related technologiesAutomate infrastructure processes through scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible)Lead migrations from legacy systems to modern platforms,



driving the technical implementationOptimize existing infrastructure: performance, availability, security and regulatory complianceDeploy AI-driven solutions for service modernization and intelligent automationIntegrate Azure into hybrid on-premises + cloud strategiesCollaborate with international teams on solution design and troubleshootingDocument architectures and create infrastructure standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Real experience in:

Hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) — you've implemented, not just theorizedOracle or enterprise databases — you understand database infrastructureScripting and automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible) — you've automated real processesOn-premises or hybrid environments — you know physical and virtual infrastructureLarge or complex companies — you've worked in corporate environments

Nice to have:

Azure or AWS — cloud experienceZerto, Commvault, GuardicoreNetworking (CISCO, Juniper)Monitoring (Grafana, Nagios)AI applied to infrastructure — optimization, intelligent automation
