In this role, you will shape the quality stance of Akamai’s cloud platform within the ACC Compute Team. You’ll help build and scale the Golden Path cloud-native platform that accelerates bringing new products to market. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve performance, reliability, and security for high-availability Kubernetes services. This is an opportunity to drive automated testing and continuous delivery at scale, contributing to a mission of making cloud computing simple and accessible.

Responsabilidades

- Lead test framework architecture and design continuous execution pipelines for cloud platform features
- Shape the automated quality engineering roadmap with developers and product stakeholders
- Establish test automation standards and mentor junior engineers




- Partner with engineering leadership to improve continuous delivery stability and release confidence

Requisitos principales

- Experience in test automation and cloud platform engineering
- Proficient in building test frameworks using Python, Pytest, Go, or Bash
- Deep experience testing high-availability, fault-tolerant Kubernetes services and cloud-native technologies
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols, Linux systems, and CD tools
- Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and basic security principles
- Experience with CI/CD tools to promote good software development practices
