In this role, you will define and own the test strategy for Akamai’s cloud-native platform, shaping the quality and scalability of our next-gen compute stack. You’ll work with cross-functional leaders to map long-term testing roadmaps and mentor engineers to elevate automated validation. You’ll push innovative cloud-native testing approaches to accelerate safe, rapid development. This position offers impact on a large, distributed platform that underpins our cloud and edge services.

Responsabilidades

- Drive the overarching test strategy, framework architecture, and platform quality initiatives across teams
- Partner with business leaders and architects to define long-term quality and testing roadmaps




- Mentor senior engineers while setting organizational standards for automated continuous deployment testing
- Champion innovation in cloud-native testing methodologies to accelerate rapid development cycles safely

Requisitos principales

- Test automation experience and software platform engineering
- Deep mastery of CI pipelines, infrastructure tools, and platform networking
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, cloud-native services, Python, Go, and Linux
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and security principles
- Thought leadership in designing scalable automation frameworks for complex cloud platforms
