Overview

In this role you will lead a technical training team to support manufacturing and product readiness for Edwards Lifesciences’ structural heart innovations. You drive training programs, manage materials and metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure audit-ready documentation and effective skill development. The position offers exposure to NPI and process-improvement projects, with a focus on quality, safety, and operational efficiency. You will shape training strategies that strengthen performance and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

- Supervise a team of trainers and training activities
- Oversee training materials, inventory, and delivery of productivity, quality, and training metrics
- Plan and schedule Training events aligned with MPS and NPI needs
- Conduct performance reviews and address training performance issues
- Participate in improvement projects and coordinate with engineering on investigations and corrective actions
- Prepare training records for audit compliance
- Support cross-functional teams in cohesive production operations




- Adhere to EH&S; and quality guidelines in clean room manufacturing
- May represent the organization to external contacts
- Maintain and supervise training function activities

Requisitos principales

- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent
- 1 year of related experience or alternative combinations as listed
- Experience in medical device manufacturing or related environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (preferably JDE)
- Ability to supervise and coach in a dynamic manufacturing setting
- Hire/fire authority and employee relations experience (HR coordination)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma
- Audit and documentation proficiency
- Ability to work rotating shifts
