Overview

In this role you will drive and shape China’s rare disease market access strategy, partnering with AZ China, GVAP, and global teams to unlock innovative access opportunities. You will help build a sustainable access ecosystem, aligning pricing and policy with local needs while supporting portfolio expansion. You will collaborate across functions to translate strategy into actionable workstreams and engage key payers, government stakeholders, and advocates. This is a high-impact opportunity to advance patient access and contribute to Alexion’s 2030 ambition.

Responsabilidades

- Establish and drive a cross-function Market Access & Pricing policy framework to support local access strategy development and execution
- Define access-pricing policy priorities and corresponding strategy objectives
- Propose and explore strategic access initiatives to unlock China rare diseases and create a dedicated access ecosystem
- Develop and participate in local stakeholder engagement events and craft RD narratives and position papers for external audiences (payers, government officials)
- Support capability building at country level by sharing best practices and providing tailored operational support for the China teams




- Coordinate with AZ China and general cross-functional teams to ensure integrated strategy and alignment across functions
- Provide strategic guidance to China teams on navigating the RD landscape and implementing market access initiatives
- Enhance cross-functional project management by integrating inputs into a coherent, country-specific strategy platform

Requisitos principales

- Proven market access experience with successful cross-functional collaboration
- Understanding of China access and policy environment for rare diseases or specialized medicines
- China country market expertise preferred
- Experience in cross-functional project development and management
- Rare disease or specialized drugs therapy area expertise
- Relevant drug development and/or commercialization experience in pharma/medical industry
- Strong stakeholder engagement and external affairs skills
