As Senior Tax Accountant at Qlik, you will oversee EMEA and APAC direct tax processes, ensuring compliance and driving initiatives. You will collaborate with accounting, revenue, AP, and IT teams to support tax filings, audits, and global tax strategy. You’ll monitor Pillar II developments and translate them into practical data and processes, enabling scalable, compliant tax operations. Responsabilidades

- Oversee EMEA and APAC direct tax processes and compliance
- Review or assist with corporate tax returns prepared by external advisors
- Support U.S. GAAP tax provision and tax audit procedures
- Manage tax payments for EMEA and APAC
- Coordinate with Shared Services Center during audits and with IT
- Implement direct tax controls and ensure tax calendar adherence
- Monitor Pillar II developments and translate into requirements
- Assist in gathering data for Pillar II calculations and reporting




- Maintain transfer pricing policy and documentation with external advisors
- Contribute to medium/long-term global direct tax strategy and planning initiatives
- Provide analysis of direct tax implications for company transactions
- Support tax audit responses and stakeholder communications
- Identify and implement process and tax systems improvements (automation)

Requisitos principales

- 3+ years of global direct tax experience (EMEA and APAC)
- Fluent understanding of direct tax and compliance issues
- Knowledge of direct tax audit processes
- US GAAP knowledge is an asset, Local country GAAP knowledge beneficial
- Experience with tax control and process redesign for compliance
- Multinational experience coordinating with teams in other countries
- Big Four experience preferred
- Experience with tax technology and ERP systems (e.g., Avalara, Net Suite)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with tax process improvement and automation initiatives
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred
- Master degree in Taxation preferred
