About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Content Licensing Manager to join Rakuten TV's AVOD & FAST team, with a focus on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

You will play a key role in driving our content acquisition and FAST channel carriage strategy,



securing high-quality content and locally relevant channels.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive Content & Channel Strategy: Execute the content acquisition and FAST channel carriage strategy, ensuring a diverse and compelling slate that meets audience and business objectives.
- Negotiate & Close Deals: Manage the full lifecycle of content licensing and/or FAST channel carriage agreements, with major studios, distributors, rights holders, and third-party FAST channel providers.
- Identify New Opportunities: Proactively identify and onboard new locally relevant FAST channels and rightsholder distributors within the DACH market, and potentially other territories.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and accounts, proactively identifying new opportunities and ensuring smooth collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments — Legal, Finance, BI, Programming, Marketing, Media Sales
