The Role We're hiring an Iberia Market Analyst to build Modo Energy's products for Spain and Portugal. You'll design the data workflows behind our Iberian coverage, build and ship benchmarks, and work with our European forecast team to shape the forecast product for both markets. You should be as comfortable automating a data pipeline as explaining a market to a customer,



and you should enjoy turning messy data into products people use.

Our coverage is battery energy storage, solar, wind and data centres, and we expect it to grow.

What You'll Be Doing Build and automate the data workflows behind our Iberian coverage, from TSOs, NEMOs, and other sources.

Work with the European forecast team on the Spanish and Portuguese forecasts: fundamentals, market design, and how regulatory and market changes feed into the models.

Contribute market insight through research and customer calls.

2+ years of experience in power markets, energy analytics, data, or a technical analyst role.

A generalist mindset: comfortable moving between data, product, and market questions.

Professional fluency in Spanish and English.

OMIE day-ahead and intraday, REE balancing services (aFRR, mFRR, RR), and the capacity mechanism.

Experience with data pipelines or workflow orchestration (e.g. Airflow, Dagster, dbt).
