Overview As Senior Linux Engineer, you will design and implement deployment automation for Linux across on-premises and cloud environments, leveraging Ansible and CI/CD practices. You will shape templates, standards, and scalable, secure infrastructure for VMs and Cloud VMs, working with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving IT environment. This role offers an opportunity to lead automation initiatives within a general logistics leader and influence cloud-native deployment strategies. Your work directly supports reliable, high-performing systems. Responsabilidades * Design and maintain the Linux automation engine for VM deployment (on-prem and cloud) * Collaborate with application teams to define Linux OS standards and templates * Ensure solutions are scalable, highly available,



and secure * Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD best practices * Troubleshoot infrastructure issues during implementation * Monitor and improve infrastructure and application performance * Keep up to date with new technologies in infrastructure design and management Requisitos principales * 5+ years of Linux engineering at scale in production * Experience with automated provisioning pipelines delivering VMs at volume * Technical lead experience in a small engineering team * Deep hands-on Ansible expertise (roles, collections, testing) * AWX/Ansible Automation Platform experience * Foreman/Katello for provisioning and lifecycle * Git-based workflow with peer review * Python for tooling and API integration * VMware vSphere provisioning; native provisioning on two cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) * Networking and storage fundamentals for infrastructure templates * leadership * collaboration * problem-solving * Ansible * AWX/Ansible Automation Platform * Foreman/Katello
