Experteer Overview
In this role, you will design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines on an Azure-based platform powering investment, asset management, and risk analytics for Allianz’s PIMCO Prime Real Estate. You’ll shape the PIMCO Data Platform, enabling trusted data products through lakehouse architectures, governance, and secure-by-design solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive automation, performance, and continuous improvement in a global, innovation-driven environment.

• Design, build and operate scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Azure, Databricks, Spark and Delta Lake
• Develop robust ELT workflows with Python and SQL, leveraging Azure Data Factory and CI/CD
• Evolve lakehouse architectures and data models with governance, quality, and lineage
• Apply security-by-design with access controls, encryption and secrets management per Allianz standards
• Optimize data solutions for performance, reliability and cost, monitor KPIs and SLAs, assist in incident resolution
• Partner with business,



analytics and technology teams to translate requirements into reusable data products
• Support platform migrations and integrations while increasing automation with Infrastructure as Code and testing frameworks
• Contribute to engineering best practices and explore AI and emerging technologies for the data platform

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and building cloud-based data pipelines
• Strong Python and SQL skills with Azure data services and Databricks/Spark including Delta Lake
• Experience with data orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory or Airflow; understanding of lakehouse and modern data architecture patterns
• Knowledge of data modeling, governance, data quality and lineage for reliable data solutions
• Experience delivering secure-by-design data solutions in regulated or complex enterprise environments
• DevOps proficiency including Git, CI/CD, tes
