Experteer Overview
As Solution Architect for the Actuarial Platform (ACE) at Zurich TDC, you will own end-to-end technical design for the ACE platform and actuarial systems, aligning features with AWS-ready targets ahead of migration. You’ll translate actuarial requirements into scalable data, ETL, and integration designs, while upholding governance, auditability, and performance. You’ll collaborate across math, product, and delivery teams to shape a cloud-first, multi-data-class platform that enables reliable reporting and analytics.

• Own end-to-end technical design for ACE platform and actuarial systems
• Translate BRDs into detailed technical specifications (data flows, calculation chain, API interactions)
• Maintain and evolve ACE reference architecture toward AWS
• Enforce architectural principles and ensure auditability, idempotency, and data quality
• Define non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, DR, auditability)
• Design and govern ETL pipelines for seven data classes with proper partitioning and quality controls
• Oversee Delta Lake partitioning strategy and calculation grain alignment
• Design multi-currency FX conversion chain and ensure currency variables propagation
• Implement data lineage, RTM standards, and self-healing patterns in pipelines
• Own Unity Catalog data sharing architecture and access controls
• Configure and deploy formula files via Git-based config-as-code; manage Databricks/DBT deployment pipelines




• Lead AWS migration planning and ensure AWS-portable design from day one
• Provide architectural oversight to Databricks team and ensure governance compliance
• Collaborate across actuarial business users, Product Owners, and cross-timezone teams
• Support BRD translation into deliverable technical scope; enable cross-functional understanding

Responsabilidades
• 10+ years in solution or data architecture
• 3+ years on data-intensive platforms in financial services or regulated industries
• Hands-on Azure data platform experience (Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, PySpark)
• Practical DBT experience in a Databricks environment
• Deep Delta Lake knowledge (partitioning, ACID, schema evolution)
• Experience designing complex ETL pipelines with multi-dimensional data
• Multi-currency ETL and FX workflow expertise
• Strong data modelling (2NF/3NF, partitioning, governance)
• Self-healing, idempotent pipeline design with audit logging
• Git-based config-as-code and CI/CD deployment
• Experience within regulated IT governance and architecture review processes
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification; AWS experience preferred
