Overview In this role you will lead the development and productisation of embedded solutions for Defence aerospace programmes. You will define technical architectures and coordinate hardware, FPGA, embedded software and systems teams to mature R&D; technologies into robust, product-ready solutions. You will specify requirements, interfaces, and oversee development, integration and verification, including real-time software and state machine design. You will troubleshoot during integration and testing, shaping avionics-grade navigation systems for demanding applications. Responsabilidades * Lead development and productisation of embedded solutions for Defence aerospace programmes * Define technical architecture and interfaces * Coordinate hardware, FPGA, embedded software and systems engineering teams * Define requirements, architectures and interfaces; oversee development, integration and verification * Design real-time software, state machines and timing-related functions * Troubleshoot issues during integration and testing Requisitos principales * 4+ years in aerospace or avionics * Strong knowledge of real-time software * Hands-on experience with C/C++, FPGA and hardware/software integration * Experience with navigation systems (GNSS, inertial or hybrid) * Knowledge of avionics architectures, RTOS, embedded Linux, hypervisors, FPGA design, SIL/HIL, simulation and verification processes * Technical leadership * Coordination and cross-functional collaboration * Problem solving * Embedded systems * Aerospace product development * Real-time software
