Overview In this role you will build and maintain data pipelines feeding a central data platform used for investment processes. You will contribute to platform development, testing and data reliability within a fintech/AI/quant context. The position offers close collaboration with cross-functional teams and hands-on ownership of technical projects from Madrid. You will work on high-impact data solutions for financial data and analytics, shaping how data supports decision-making in trading and investments. and quant * collaboration with talented professionals * hands-on impact from day one Responsabilidades * Design and develop data pipelines importing data from external vendors and partners into the central data platform * Contribute to platform enhancement to meet evolving business needs and conduct regular testing * Maintain data platform reliability and ensure data quality and integrity for the investment process * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve data accessibility and usability; drive adoption of advanced analytics technologies Requisitos principales * 3-6 years as a data engineer or related role * Minimum 2.1 in Computer Science or related field (preferably Russell Group or top EU university) * Hedge fund experience is highly desirable * Experience designing and building data pipelines * Proficient in SQL, Python, AWS; familiarity with Git and Airflow * Ability to test and troubleshoot data platforms; track record of improving data reliability and quality * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Office-based in Madrid; fluent in Spanish and English * communication * teamwork * stakeholder collaboration * SQL * Python * AWS
