Overview In this R&D; Associate role at Roche, you contribute to diagnostic product development and lifecycle support across clinical chemistry, immunoassays, coagulation analytics, and mass spectrometry. You plan and run laboratory experiments, analyze results, and coordinate with R&D; colleagues to support development, regulatory activities, and issue resolution. You work in a quality-controlled lab, upholding safety and documentation standards while applying biochemical and analytical methods. You will be part of a collaborative team shaping diagnostics at a general scale. Responsabilidades * Plan and perform laboratory experiments including sample prep, buffer preparation, analytical methods, and application testing * Collect, analyze, and interpret data, identify trends, and contribute to troubleshooting * Document experimental work accurately per quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements * Apply biochemical, immunodiagnostic, and analytical knowledge to support development and maintenance * Support operation, calibration,



and qualification of laboratory equipment and analytical systems * Present results in project/team meetings and engage in technical discussions * Assist in the preparation and review of regulatory and quality-related documentation * Collaborate across the team to maintain a safe, high-quality lab environment Requisitos principales * Completed vocational training or equivalent in a relevant natural science discipline * Hands-on laboratory experience with analytical methods in biochemical/diagnostic environments * Knowledge of chemistry, biochemistry, immunology, clinical chemistry and/or analytical methods * Experience working with analytical instruments and laboratory systems * Experience handling human/pathogenic material in a BSL-2 environment * Good documentation skills and experience in quality-controlled environments * Working knowledge of English * Collaborative mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently
