Under direction of the immediate supervisor, the Lab Technician II participates in the execution
of laboratory experiments following quality, safety, and environmental rules. a variety of tasks, prepares materials, reagents, and equipment, runs laboratory tests and
procedures for which he/she has been adequately trained, compiles data and may collaborate
equipment and laboratory maintenance.

Performs laboratory tests and experiments and periodically communicates results,
Compiles experimental data and performs calculations to present and discuss them to
Supports the training of newcomers and ensures that they obtain adequate knowledge




Maintains electronic or paper laboratory notebook making sure that all data is accurately
Sets up and operates a variety of general and specialized laboratory equipment.
• Follows strict laboratory quality, safety, and environmental procedures according to
Networking/Key relationships
Mainly with R&D;, Quality and Operations colleagues

Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio in Science or Health-related field,
biochemistry, lab automation, clinical analyzers…

• o Software: Fluency in Office Tools (Excel & Word), Valuable Basic knowledge in
SAP
o Language: Fluency in Spanish or Catalan. Basic knowledge of English (reading and
o Flexibility in order to work with and provide support for a number of people
o Reflects values of Werfen and Biokit in the quality of work and working relationship

Sporadic travel or short-term assignment to an external lab may be required
