Overview In this Medior Backend Software Engineer role, you contribute to developing cloud-based web applications for ports and terminals. You join a cross-functional team, working from design to deployment to maintain scalable, reliable software. You’ll build and consume RESTful APIs within a microservices ecosystem, leveraging real-time data and AI-driven insights. Responsabilidades * Design, develop, and maintain Java (Spring Boot) web features * Participate in full SDLC including testing, deployment and maintenance * Collaborate with Product Managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into solutions * Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to Kafka-based integrations * Write clean,



testable code and participate in code reviews to raise standards * Implement intuitive UIs aligned with UX/UI designs * Troubleshoot defects and performance issues; create automated tests * Document technical solutions and share knowledge within the team * Contribute to continuous improvement and technical discussions Requisitos principales * Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience (Java) * Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot * Experience designing, developing, or consuming RESTful APIs * Understanding of microservices and asynchronous communication * Knowledge of clean code and software development best practices * Experience with automated testing for frontend and backend * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proactive, team-oriented with good communication in English * Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment * Empathy for customer needs to deliver value * Team collaboration * Communication * Analytical mindset * Java * Spring Boot * RESTful APIs
