We are currently expanding our People Team and are looking to appoint an experienced HR Labour Specialist in Madrid, Santander or Valladolid to support our growing organisation and help shape the future of employment practices across our business.
In this role, you will be part of our HR Business Partnering function, providing specialist labour and employment expertise that enables our teams and leaders to make informed and compliant people decisions. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, managers, legal advisors and business stakeholders, helping to create a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
As an HR Labour Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting WSP's people agenda by providing expert guidance on labour relations and employment matters across Spain.
Provide internal employment law advice to HR Business Partners, managers and the business on the interpretation and application of employment legislation, collective bargaining agreements, internal policies and terms and conditions of employment.




Provide advice and manage individual and collective employment matters, including recruitment and employment, changes to terms and conditions, mobility, disciplinary matters, terminations, dismissals, reorganisations and restructurings.
Prepare and review employment contracts, addenda, contractual amendments, agreements and employee communications, ensuring compliance with the applicable legal framework and corporate policies. Coordinate with HR, Legal, Compliance and external advisors on employment-related matters.
Advise on and manage the recruitment and employment of international professionals in Spain, assessing the employment and legal requirements applicable to each case.
Coordinate international recruitment processes requiring residence and work authorisations, visas or other immigration requirements, working with specialised external providers where appropriate.
Our HR Business Partnering team acts as a trusted advisor to the business, supporting organisational growth, employee engagement, talent development and operational excellence.
You will have the opportunity to influence business decisions, contribute to strategic projects,



collaborate with experienced professionals across Europe and continue developing your expertise in a complex and evolving employment landscape.
A degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business Administration, Law or a related discipline.
Approximately 10 to 15 years of experience in labour relations, employment law or related HR functions.
Strong knowledge of Spanish employment legislation, collective bargaining agreements and labour relations practices.
Advanced digital skills and experience working with HR systems and ERP platforms.
Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
