Experteer Overview As Senior API Engineer in Madrid, you will scale our main web application and enable product teams with tooling to ship features efficiently while preserving a unified customer experience. You will own services end-to-end, applying RFC-driven design and champion observability, testing, and CI/CD. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platforms and processes. The role blends hands-on backend work with strategic impact on global growth and customer-centric delivery.

Compensaciones / Incentivos • Contribute to the next iteration of platform channels and collaborate on new services and existing ones • Design services using RFC process in collaboration with the team and leaders • Own the products you build, from development to maintenance • Build and run services with containerisation, monitoring,



and alerting • Ensure code is testable with unit and integration tests • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and IaC deployment tasks • Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence and collaboration • Occasionally participate in on-call rotations

Responsabilidades • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of software development experience • Proficiency in Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, RestAPIs • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS • Experience with IAM frameworks and tools like Keycloak • Strong understanding of system architecture, API design, and building scalable services • Strong Linux, cloud infrastructure, networking, and database knowledge • Git proficiency • Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
