Functional Analyst (m/f/d)

Your Task

We are looking to add to our team a Functional Analyst in the area of software development, ideally with experience as a large public client. This position is ideally for Tarragona profiles, although applications from Barcelona will also be evaluated. The role involves understanding the needs of the business and translating them into clear functional requirements that the technical team can implement. The applications are developed using HOST technology, but work is being done to migrate the system to Java and the cloud.

Responsibilities

- Compilation of requirements
- Functional analysis and definition
- Generating functional documentation
- Communication with technical team
- Validation and participation in user acceptance tests (UAT) with the customer
- Support and continuous improvement

Your Profile

We are looking for a Functional Analyst in software development with strong communication skills, analytical capabilities, and experience working with large public clients, capable of translating business needs into clear functional requirements.

Must Have Skills

- Advanced Catalan language skills, both spoken and written
- At least 3 years of experience as a functional analyst
- Good communication skills with clients
- Good communication skills with development teams
- Analysis and synthesis capacity
- Empathy with users and customers

Nice to Have Skills

- Experience working with large public clients
- Experience with HOST technology




- Knowledge of Java migration projects
- Experience with cloud migration projects
