You join Preply to scale and safeguard GenAI-powered learning experiences. As a senior engineer on the GenAI Platform team, you design and expand systems that run production GenAI workloads, partnering with data, security, and product teams. You shape platform abstractions, promote self-service capabilities, and drive reliable, low-latency delivery with strong observability and governance. This role combines hands-on coding with architectural influence to impact millions of learners and tutors globally.

• Architect unified gateway with automated routing, quotas, and robust fallback across model vendors
• Improve efficiency and reduce latency via dynamic traffic, caching, and cost allocation controls
• Establish evaluation mechanisms ensuring precision, stability, and safety of model outputs
• Deliver comprehensive observability: tracing, telemetry, cost analytics, monitoring, and alerts across GenAI lifecycles




• Standardize prompt engineering with versioning, automated testing, governance, and CI/CD for production delivery
• Implement platform guardrails with Security/Privacy teams for safe defaults and policies
• Maintain incident response and blameless postmortems with thorough GenAI stack monitoring

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years designing and operating backend services or ML infrastructure with production traffic
• Strong Python skills and experience building developer-facing APIs/SDKs
• Hands-on experience with GenAI systems including vector retrieval and external provider APIs
• Knowledge of distributed systems xghoner (high availability, concurrency, caching, rate limiting)
• Experience with at least one major public cloud (preferably AWS)
• Experience with distributed tracing, telemetry, SLOs, and incident triage
• Excellent communication and English proficiency (C1), willingness for on-call rotation
