Overview

As Treasury Trader, you will autonomously manage core treasury operations, liquidity, and investments, with a focus on public sector financing. You will operate the short-term treasury book, monitor central bank activity, and ensure audit readiness through strong risk management. This role connects Risk, Accounting, and Regulatory Reporting, enabling a stable, compliant treasury function. You’ll work hybrid, combining Barcelona office presence with remote work, and drive impactful product and reporting improvements.

Responsabilidades

- Trade Execution & Portfolio Management: assess, price (Bloomberg), execute and log money market transactions; manage Repo/Reverse Repo and short maturities with a focus on public sector funding
- Liquidity & Reserve Management: oversee Bundesbank cash pooling, Eurosystem reserve requirements, overnight deposits, credit lines, and hedging of short-term positions




- Payment Systems & Central Bank Operations: serve as deputy for payment/settlement infrastructure (Target, ESMIG, MACCS) and manage central bank accounts
- Audit, Compliance & Governance: support audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold First Line of Defense risk management
- Product & Tech Initiatives: lead New Product Process implementations, vendor onboarding, core banking enhancements, and automated reporting using SQL

Requisitos principales

- Strong treasury, liquidity management, and money market experience; hands-on Repo/Reverse Repo and hedging preferred
- Bloomberg front office tools, payment systems (Target, ESMIG, MACCS), and SQL data querying
- Solid understanding of Eurosystem frameworks, reserve requirements, and European banking regulations (MaRisk, CRR III, KWG)
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional projects and operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
